CD124 is a type I transmembrane protein. It can regulate the production of IgE antibodies by B cells by binding to interleukin-4 and interleukin-13, and promote the differentiation of Th2 cells by binding to interleukin-4. Studies have shown that IL-4/IL-4R signaling pathway not only plays an important role in the immune system, but also IL-4R is overexpressed in many epithelial tumor cells. IL-4/IL-4R signaling pathway plays a strong role in promoting the survival, proliferation, migration and invasion of epithelial tumors.
